    Day 2: Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing

    After breakfast you will be accompanied by your personal guide to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world . Pyramids & Sphinx: Proceed to visit to the 4,500 year old Pyramids built for pharaohs Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus on the Giza Plateau,the Great Pyramid being the only survivor of the " seven wonders of the Ancient World ". Just to the east of the second pyramid lies the legendary Sphinx , whose human face is thought to represent that of Chephren acting as the guardian of the Pharaoh's enormous funerary monument.     Day 4: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions

Valley of Kings&Queens :Begin your day with a visit to the West Bank of Luxor to explore the Valley of the Kings , a vast City of the Dead where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks , decorated richly , and filled with treasures for the afterlife by generations of Pharaohs . The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut :Rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces , The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut ( Ancient Egypt ' s only female Pharaoh ) merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it , as if nature herself had built this extraordinary monument . Photostop at Colossi of Memnon: On the way back to the river Nile , your road passes by the famed Colossi of Memnon , known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn They are two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who reigned in Egypt during 18 th dynasty , New Kingdom .     Day 5: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

EdfuTemple : This morning explore the largest and most completely preserved Pharaonic – albeit Greek – built- temple in Egypt , the extraordinary Temple of Horus at Edfu . Lunch : On board. Kom Ombo Temple : Visit the temple of Kom Ombo , dedicated to the crocodile – god Sobek . The Temple stands at a bend in the Nile where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the river bank . Dinner : On board. Overnight : On board in Kom Ombo .     Day 6: Aswan Nile Cruise Tour

    Breakfast : Breakfast buffet on board . High Dam: The dam's construction began in 1960 and was completed in 1968. It was, however, officially inaugurated in 1971. The total investment for constructing the dam reached $1bn.With a reservoir capacity of 132 cubic kilometers, the Aswan High Dam provides water for about 33,600km of irrigation land. Philae Temple:It is devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor, Philae was originally located near the expansive First Cataract of the Nile in Upper Egypt and was the site of an Egyptian temple complex. These rapids and the surrounding area have been variously flooded since the initial construction of the Aswan Low Dam in 1902. The temple complex was later dismantled and relocated to nearby Agilkia Island Unfinished Obelisk: Next we proceed to the Granite Quarries , which supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples , and still hold a huge unfinished obelisk .
