    Day 1:Pyramids / Sakkara

    Introduction to your Egyptologist : Your Dar Al Salam Tours Representative will introduce you to your Egyptologist . Memphis & Sakkara: Morning tour of Memphis , the ancient capital of Egypt dating from 3,100 BC , and the legendary city of Menes , the king who United Upper and Lower Egypt . Lunch : Set menu lunch at a nice local restaurant . Proceed to its necropolis of Sakkara where you will see the world-famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser , the oldest known of Egypt's pyramids and the world's first freestanding stone structure. Pyramids & Sphinx: Proceed to visit to the 4,500 year old Pyramids built for pharaohs Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus on the Giza Plateau,the Great Pyramid being the only survivor of the " seven wonders of the Ancient World ". Just to the east of the second pyramid lies the legendary Sphinx , whose human face is thought to represent that of Chephren acting as the guardian of the Pharaoh's enormous funerary monument.     Day 2: Cairo Sightseeing - Final Departure

    Breakfast : Breakfast buffet at hotel & Check out . Egyptian Museum: In the morning visit the Egyptian Museum of antiquities, exhibiting over 120,000 objects in its 107 halls. It comprises the world ' s greatest collection of Ancient Egyptian artifacts . Marvel at the many rooms filled with golden treasures extracted from the world-famous tomb of King Tutankhamen. Muizz Street: It is one of the oldest streets in Cairo, approximately one kilometer long. It has the greatest concentration of medieval architectural treasures in Islamic World. The Street is named for Al-Muizz Li-deen Allah, the fourth caliph of the Fatimid dynasty. Lunch : Set menu lunch at a nice local restaurant . Khan El Khalili Bazaar:You will have the chance to stroll through the bustling Khan El-Khalili Bazaar . Founded in the 14 th century as a watering stop for caravanserai; nowadays it is reputedly the largest bazaar in the Middle East .
